The Sky window is the main RedShift window which opens after the start sequence. It always contains the sky view (except when Print preview has been chosen), and is always behind other windows that RedShift opens.
You can resize the Sky window using the usual controls. If you minimize it, then all other RedShift windows will be hidden. If you have a large monitor, you may find it useful to resize the Sky window to occupy a small part of the screen, and to move any other window, panel or dialog outside it (control panels must be floating to do this). This is particularly useful when using the eclipse and conjunction finders, or Sky diary.
